Heart Body Soul is a specially designed program included with each residency and fellowship, providing an enriching experience of Indian art, culture and spirituality. This program seeks to stimulate, inspire and enhance creativity in all aspects of the artistic self while ensuring that your practical needs are also met during the residency. The program includes:
Get Going In Delhi Full-day Materials sourcing and Orientation Trip
At the beginning of your residency, we'll show you around Delhi and familiarize you with art and supply stores, wholesale markets, local shopping areas and outdoor markets where you can buy everything from supplies that you may need during your residency to treasures and gifts to take home. Afterwards if you're upto it, we can stop off for an evening drink to relax and unwind.
Yoga Classes

Visit to Indian Arts and Crafts Museum and Garhi Artist Studios
You will be treated to an afternoon at the Indian Arts and Crafts Museum followed by a visit to the Garhi Artist Studios. The Indian Arts and Crafts Museum exhibits traditional textiles, jewelry, folk art, pottery, woodwork, and metalwork. Garhi is an artist's haven comprised of government-supported day studios for contemporary Indian artists. Disciplines include painting, printmaking, etching, silk-screen printing, pottery and sculpture. This visit will provide an invaluable opportunity for you to meet and interact with the Indian artists. Afterwards, if you're in the mood, you can enjoy an evening cultural activity before heading back to the Village.
Afternoon Trip to the National Museum and the Dilli Haat Food & Craft Bazaar
The National Museum houses a rich and precious collection of heritage pieces including bronze, terracotta and wood sculptures, miniature and mural paintings, coins, musical instruments, tapestries, tribal costumes and other antiquities that trace the history of the last 5000 years of the Indian subcontinent. Observe the work of traditional artisans and view the collections of two significant museums. The Dilli Haat Bazaar offers handicrafts, artwork and cuisines from different parts of the country in one place. If you're lucky, you can catch live demonstrations by potters and artisans or even special music, dance and cultural programs of different states of India , held regularly at the Haat. Afterwards, you have the option to enjoy an evening cultural event.
Opening the Door Full Day Inspiration and Creativity Meditation Retreat
This retreat offers an opportunity to let go of emotions trapped within the cells and tissue. Cleansing the toxins from the body, energizing and directing you to the core of your inner silence. This process enables you to access your inner power-house of consciousness and creativity.
This intensive course includes active and sitting meditations that are based on simple techniques drawn from the rich spiritual traditions existing in India and designed for our modern day life.

You have the opportunity to practice various meditation techniques based on Yoga; Tao; Tantra; Sufism; Zen; Buddhism; Gurdjieff and modern enlightened mystic OSHO. Sessions of Tarot, massage and reiki are also offered.
Travel Time
It is best to keep your long travels before or after your residency. For inspiration and Indian experience we suggest you the most popular trips such as Golden Triangle or Dharamshala, which can be arranged by a Tour operator or the participants themselves. There will be six days set aside when village will not schedule any events so that you can travel. However, travels are not compulsory and you are welcome to stay in the village.
Trip Out! 4 days connecting the Golden Triangle: You will depart from Delhi in an air-conditioned car for a three-night, four-day trip exploring the rich heritage of Agra and Jaipur, two mythically beautiful cities located in the States of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan respectively. Arranged and guided by a local tour operator to ensure maximum comfort and firsthand knowledge, the trip highlights include visit to Taj Mahal, a stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, (ghost city and capital of the Mughal empire), shopping (Jaipur is well-known for precious and semi-precious stones, carpets and tie-dyed fabrics) and the opportunity to take an elephant ride to the top of the Amber Fort. For a group of six persons the cost will be approx. $ 175 US - $200 US per person. You will be staying in 2-3 star hotels on twin sharing including breakfast. Entry fees for museums and monuments are not included.

Trip Out! 6 days away to Dharamsala: Dharamsala is a hill station in the Himalayas which is famous as the residence of the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government in exile at Mcleod Ganj. It is a popular destination for alternative travelers. It is a 10 hour drive from Delhi . You may like to do a one day trek to Triund, on way to Mcleod Ganj and visit the sacred Dalai Lama temple and the bazaar. In Dharamkot you can also explore the Tushita and Vipassna Centre, witness the picturesque surroundings of Naddi, the Bhagsu Falls , Shiva café and an artist colony. If organised by participants themselves, this trip should cost approx $175 US - $200 US per person in a group of 6
Daily Meditations
During the entire residency, you have the opportunity to practice meditations. Meditations practiced are from the spiritual traditions of: Osho; Tibetan Buddhism; Buddhism; Sufism; Tantra; Yoga; Gurdjieff fourth way school and Shiva etc.
